Description
Charles Sanders Peirce introduces Boolean algebra in the United States. In addition, Peirce defined concepts such as: inductive reasoning, mathematical induction and logical inference. He noted that logical operations can be performed through electrical switching circuits idea used decades later to produce digital computers.
